Zaragoza will host the 2nd Congress of the Spanish Multidisciplinary Society of Systemic Autoimmune Diseases

A key event for the comprehensive approach to systemic autoimmune diseases, with a scientific program that brings together specialists from across the country and focuses on multidisciplinary collaboration and the central role of patients.

Patio de la Infanta Ibercaja Foundation will be the headquarters of the 2nd Congress of the Spanish Multidisciplinary Society of Systemic Autoimmune Diseases (SEMAIS), November 13 and 14, a meeting that will bring together professionals from different medical specialties to comprehensively address the diagnostic and therapeutic challenges of systemic autoimmune diseases (SAD).

With a markedly multidisciplinary approach, The congress includes round tables, practical workshops and clinical sessions These will explore pathologies such as scleroderma, systemic lupus erythematosus, interstitial lung disease, giant cell arteritis, inflammatory myopathies, and autoinflammatory diseases, among others. There will also be meetings with experts and a dedicated panel on the real needs of patients from a clinical, functional, and social perspective.

The opening day will feature three simultaneous workshops on capillaroscopy and artificial intelligence, phenotypes of autoinflammatory diseases, and pathological anatomy applied to lupus nephritis. In addition, a A competition for clinical cases and scientific communications aimed specifically at residents, researchers, and young professionals in the biomedical field, whose work will be published and exhibited during the event.

The congress is organized by SEMAIS with technical support from S&H Medical Science Service. Registration is open for both in-person and virtual sessions, and the event will include continuing education accreditation.
