The Mutual Medical Foundation, through the Impulsar(me) program, announces the XXXVI edition of the Mutual Medical Scholarship to support the development of research projects led by physicians who are at the beginning of their professional career.
The projects must have a potential application in clinical practice and be developed within a maximum period of two years from the delivery of the first grant.
Target persons
Doctors who meet the following requirements may submit their application:
- Be registered with one of the Official Colleges of Physicians of Spain.
- Be in the last year of residence or have completed the period of residence in 2026 or during the three previous years, between 2023 and 2025.
Endowment
The call for applications includes:
- A grant of 25.000 euros for the winning research project.
- Two second prizes of 5.000 euros each.
Investigation project
The report must include, at least:
- Title of the project.
- Name of the candidate.
- Main objective and secondary objectives.
- Hypothesis.
- Materials and methodology.
- Relevance and possible clinical implications of the work.
Documentation
To participate, you will need to present:
- Application Form
- Copy of ID.
- Certificate from the work director, endorsing the candidate's ability, committing to follow up on their progress and confirming that it can be developed within a maximum of two years.
- Certificate from the director of the center or institution where the research will be carried out, stating the acceptance of the project and the availability of the necessary technical means.
- Approval document from the relevant Research Ethics Committee when the project includes patient participation.
- Curriculum vitae.
- Research project.
Those interested in developing the project at IIS Aragón should contact the Project Office well in advance to process the institutional certificate and verify the necessary documentation.
