The National Parks Autonomous Agency announces grants for research projects in the National Parks Network 2026
1 April 2026Grants for Research Projects in ALS Unzué-Luzón 2026
1 April 2026The fundamental objective of the Ramón Areces Foundation is the promotion of scientific and technical research in Spain, the training of its researchers, as well as the promotion and development of education and culture in general. In this context, the Grants for Research Projects in Life and Material Sciences that the Ramón Areces Foundation has been sponsoring are intended to promote Spanish scientific research, particularly in those areas that require special attention due to their relative orphanhood or for its special interest for today's society.
In this Call, the Foundation announces the granting of Grants that serve as a stimulus for new projects beneficial to our society and, ultimately, to the international scientific community.
For the development of this Call, each research team may submit a single proposal, in which it must indicate the topic for which it wishes to compete. This topic must necessarily fall into one of the following:
- Rare diseases
- Personalized therapy, immunotherapy and cancer
- Infection: early warning, prevention and treatment
- Aging and neurodegenerative diseases
- Intercellular dialogue and Interactome: pathological implications
- Food safety and biotechnology
- Climate Change and renewable energies
- New Materials. Fundamentals and applications
In the resolution of the current Competition, the Foundation wishes to take into account the preferential support, as main responsible persons, to young Spanish researchers, who do not have abundant resources, especially taking into account that the Aid can represent a decisive boost to the development of their research.
Deadline: April 20th 2026
