Test and Demonstration of Multimodal Data Approaches for Personalized Medicine (MultiPMData2026)

This call seeks to bring together companies and clinical stakeholders (healthcare providers, patients, and researchers) to test innovative solutions in controlled, real-world settings, with the goal of improving the management of multimorbidity.

EP PerMed will fund projects focused on the use of multimodal data to provide more efficient and personalized management for patients with at least two chronic diseases. Projects must test and develop mature solutions in real-world settings, adopt a systemic approach, and integrate six key elements (knowledge, technology, infrastructure, business models, policies, organization, and values). Proposals must include a clear strategy for multimodal health data management.

Consortia must have a clinical partner and at least one SME or industrial partner. Clinical studies can be funded, but not large clinical trials.

In early 2026, the European Association for Brain Health (EP Brain Health) will open its first two calls for multinational translational research projects.

Joint transnational call 2025: New treatments to tackle AMR

The European One Health Partnership for Antimicrobial Resistance (EUP OHAMR) will launch an international call for projects entitled “New treatments to tackle AMR” on November 18, 2025, co-financed by the European Union, with the participation of 36 funding organizations from 28 countries and an estimated budget of more than 28 million euros.

The goal is to improve therapeutic success in humans, animals, and plants affected by bacterial or fungal infections, by promoting new treatments and strategies that reduce the risk of resistance.

The proposals should focus on one of the following themes:

• New therapeutic combinations with existing or innovative antimicrobials.

• Tools and methods to improve adherence to treatment protocols.

• Assessment of the impact of veterinary and agricultural use of antimicrobials on the transmission of AMR to humans and the environment.

Pre-announcement: IHI Call 12 – Driving innovation for a competitive European health ecosystem

The European Innovative Health Initiative (IHI JU) has published draft topics for its upcoming IHI Call 12, an applicant-led call aligned with the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda and the European Life Sciences Strategy. The call is structured around five themes focused on driving innovation in health:

• Understanding the determinants of health,

• Integration of fragmented R&D in health,

• Integrated and person-centered care,

• Digitization and data sharing in the healthcare sector, and

• Evaluation of the added value of innovative healthcare solutions.
