The main objective of the MSCA COFUND 2025 call is to co-finance new or existing PhD programmes, as well as programmes for the incorporation of research staff at national, regional or international level. Through these actions, the aim is to promote the best practices of MSCAs, including training in international, intersectoral and interdisciplinary research, as well as to encourage transnational and sectoral mobility of researchers at all stages of their career.

El target The aim of the call is to enable ideas funded by the ERC to advance along the path of pioneering research towards innovation.

All principal investigators (PIs) of one of the ERC core grants (Starting, Consolidator, Advanced and Synergy Grant) are eligible to apply for an ERC grant. The eligibility window for this call allows all PIs with an ongoing ERC, or PIs from an ERC that has ended after 1 January 2024, to apply.

ERDERA - 2025 Joint Transnational Call for proposals on Rare Disease Therapies

ERDERA (European Rare Diseases Research Alliance) invites research teams from across Europe and beyond to submit collaborative projects focused on «Preclinical therapeutic studies for rare diseases using small molecules and biological products - development and validation».

The main objective is to support interdisciplinary and transnational collaborations that leverage complementary knowledge to develop new therapies for rare diseases. Research projects should focus on preclinical studies involving small molecules or biologics. This could include the development of novel therapies, biomarkers to assess the efficacy of therapies, or the replication of preclinical studies to validate results.

EP PerMed - 2025 JTC Pharmacogenomic Strategies for Personalized Medicine Approaches (PGxPM2025)

Through this call PGxPM2025PerMed will fund human health research projects on pharmacogenomic strategies for Personalized Medicine approaches that address one or more of the following aspects:

• Identification of new pharmacogenomic markers or signatures using (multi)-omics data in relation to drugs or drug combinations.

• Validation of a pharmacogenomic marker or signatures using (multi)-omics data to predict drug or drug combination outcomes.

• Use of pharmaconomic strategies to determine the appropriate dose, the efficacy of treatments and/or the risk of adverse drug response and non-response to treatment, in order to personalize treatment pathways, including combination treatments (multi-medication).

EP PerMed - Fast Track Call

La Fast Track Call EP PerMed aims to accelerate the development and adoption of at least 5 innovative personalized medicine solutions, fostering advances that can transform healthcare and improve patient outcomes. This program allows participants to test and refine their innovations in realistic environments, elevating their projects to at least one TRL. This process ensures that solutions move to a higher level of technological and commercial readiness.

Start-ups, small teams and researchers wishing to advance their innovations in personalized medicine through rigorous validation studies are eligible to participate. The program is aimed at solutions that are at least in the proof-of-concept phase (TRL3).

InterHeart: Understanding the interactions between cardiovascular diseases and comorbidities and/or their therapeutic treatments

the summons InterHeart aims to:

• Develop our understanding of the molecular and cellular mechanisms that govern the interactions between the cardiovascular system and other organs/systems when at least one of the two presents a pathological state.
