NEURON ELSA JTC 2023 (NEUROETHICS)
 
Multinational Research Projects on Ethical, Legal and Social Aspects (ELSA) of Neuroscience.

Research proposals may address, among others, the following topics:

* Consequences of the development of neuroscientific diagnostic methods.
* Diagnosis in the absence of treatment options; interactions between socioculturally diverse patients and healthcare personnel; (equitable) access to novel and expensive methods; unintentional use and/or misuse).
* Aspects of clinical research with patients suffering from neurological or psychiatric diseases.
* Intelligent technologies and close interaction between human and machine.
* Biobanks of neuronal tissues.
* Use of brain data; Brain interventions in legal contexts.
* Impact of modern neuroscience on traditional philosophical questions, concepts and theories about fundamental aspects of human nature.

POCTEFA 2021-2027 First call
 
The first call for INTERREG VI-A SPAIN-FRANCE-ANDORRA projects is opened (POCTEFA 2021-2027) from March 9 to May 9, 2023 at 14:00 p.m.. This call is organized in a single phase and is open to priorities 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 of the Program with FEDER aid available from 95,4 million euros.

The SIGEFA 2021-2027 platform is not available today, the launch date will be reported on the website and networks. Later, a virtual seminar will be proposed to provide basic information on the use of the platform and remember the keys to the first call for projects and the eligibility of expenses.

M-ERA.NET CALL 2023
 
The M-ERA.NET Call 2023 is launched on 1 March 2023. More than 30 funding agencies participate with an indicative budget of more than 30 million €.
The aim is to fund ambitious transnational RTD projects addressing materials research and innovation including materials for batteries and low carbon energy technologies.

The Call 2023 includes the following thematic areas:

COST Open call: A simple one-step application process
 
Participants are invited to submit COST Action proposals contributing to the scientific, technological, economic, cultural or societal advancement knowledge and development of Europe. Multi- and interdisciplinary proposals are encouraged.

The Open Call Action proposal submission, evaluation, selection and approval (SESA) procedure is fully science and technology-driven and will ensure a simple, transparent and competitive proposal evaluation and selection process, reflecting the bottom-up, open and inclusive principles of COST .

Participants planning to submit a proposal for a COST Action will need to refer to the SESA guidelines and to the Open Call Announcement available on the Documents and Guidelines page.

European Infoday of the COST program

COST offers networking opportunities for researchers and innovators to strengthen Europe's capacity to address scientific, technological and social challenges. On May 24, COST is hosting an online INFODAY from 10 to 11:30. This session is open to all researchers and innovators at any stage of their career and from any field of research, especially COST supports young researchers, also the session is aimed at R&I management personnel. The objective is to inform our researchers and innovators on how to participate in COST Actions or propose a new COST network on any scientific-technological topic.

One Health Summer School 2023

It seeks to explore interdisciplinary problems and work together to build solutions and develop knowledge of One Health and/or Planetary Health by addressing a related global challenge, working with other undergraduates from European and international universities to develop and present an idea.

The One Health Summer School 2023 will bring together students, PhD researchers and staff from across the One Europe Alliance and beyond to explore interdisciplinary One Health issues and work to build solutions together. This unique summer school features in particular:

• An innovative, interdisciplinary program designed by world-leading academics from One Europe partner universities
• A highly collaborative and interactive program that allows you to work closely with all colleagues, as well as with mentors and academics in a multicultural community.
• A modular approach with a set of online and in-person elements, addressing different levels of experience
