The ISIDORe project proposes to fund Research & Development into preparedness and responsiveness, by giving scientific communities, free-of-charge transnational access (TNA) to the full extent of our state-of-the-art facilities, cutting-edge services, advanced equipment and technologies, made available through our catalog of services.

Research call on “Large scale analysis of omics data for drug-target finding in neurodegenerative diseases"

Proposals should aim to address unmet needs in the AMR diagnostics and surveillance sectors beyond the current state of the art, by focusing on one of the topics of the call:
•    Topics 1: To develop novel, or improve existing, diagnostics, including point of care diagnostics, that can rule out antimicrobial use or help identify the most effective antimicrobial treatment.
•    Topics 2: To develop or improve existing strategies, technologies or methods, or data use strategies to support One Health AMR surveillance.

POCTEFA 2021-2027 First call

There is already a date for the first call for POCTEFA 2021-2027 projects: the deadline for submitting applications will be open from Thursday, March 9 to Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at 14 p.m.. The ERDF available for this call is 95,4M €.

The call will open one day after the launch seminar of the POCTEFA 2021-2027 Program that will be held on March 8 in Vitoria-Gasteiz. At this event all the new features of the program will be presented.

POCTEFA 2021-2027 launch event in Vitoria

The launch event of POCTEFA 2021-2027 will take place on March 8 in Vitoria-Gasteiz (Europe Congress Palace). It will be a one-day event (morning and afternoon) in which the news of POCTEFA 2021-2027 will be announced. The objectives, territory, FEDER allocation, the new SIGEFA and priorities, among other topics related to this new period, will be explained.

The POCTEFA program offers financing possibilities for cross-border projects led by public and private sector actors in the cooperation area. The beneficiary entities may be public organizations, companies, development agencies, groups, associations, foundations, chambers of commerce or educational centers, among other types of entities or groups.

The 1st call for POCTEFA 2021-2027 projects will also be presented, which is expected to open on dates close to the event. Topics such as dates, characteristics, the application form, etc. will be addressed.

The text of the POCTEFA 2021-2027 Program was approved by the European Commission on November 23, 2022 and is available here.

The allocation from the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) granted to POCTEFA 2021-2027 is 243 million euros. The program is organized into seven priorities; four political objectives and one INTERREG objective; and fifteen specific objectives.

During the meeting, they will talk about Horizon Europe and the opportunities for financing R&D&I in health, the 2023 and 2024 call -Health Cluster-, the Horizon Europe in Health Partnerships and the key aspects for the design of proposals successful competitive

Finally, bilateral meetings will be held with the speakers (upon request) and networking among the participants.
The day will take place at the CIBA, from 10 a.m. to 14:15 p.m., and can also be followed via streaming.
