Global Health EDCTP3
(HORIZON-THU-GH-EDCTP3-2022-01)
The European and Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP) will deliver new solutions for reducing the burden of infectious diseases in sub-Saharan Africa, and strengthen research capacities to prepare and respond to re-emerging infectious diseases in this region and across the world.
By 2030, the GH EDCTP3 aims to develop and deploy at least two new technologies tackling infectious diseases, and support at least 100 research institutes in 30 countries to develop additional health technologies against infectious diseases.
HORIZON-MSCA-2022-PF-01: On May 12, the new MSCA-PF call was opened to submit the proposal no later than 14/09/2022. It is a good time to start working on the proposal, so, if you are interested, you can contact us (international@iisaragon.es).

IHI: Innovative Health Initiative (single stage call)
IHI calls for proposals represent an opportunity for organizations involved in health research and healthcare to form consortia and apply to be part of cross-sector partnerships that bring together a range of stakeholders to address some of the biggest challenges in health research today.
IHI call 1 was launched on 28 June 2022 with topics on cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, and health data.
HORIZON-THU-IHI-2022-01-01: An innovative decision-support system for improved care pathways for patients with neurodegenerative diseases and comorbidities. HORIZON-THU-IHI-2022-01-02: Next generation imaging and image-guided diagnosis and therapy for cancer. HORIZON-THU-IHI-2022-01-03: Personalized oncology: Innovative people-centered, multi-modal therapies against cancer. HORIZON-THU-IHI-2022-01-04: Access and integration of heterogeneous health data for improved health care in diseases areas of high unmet public health need.

On July 14, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., an online session will take place (via Teams) with the main objective of answering the doubts and queries of those who are interested in participating in calls 1 and 2 of the Innovative Health Initiative (IHI).
Participants interested in holding a virtual bilateral meeting with CDTI technicians can send their project proposal to marta.dediego@cdti.es, until July 13 at 10:00 a.m., using the form provided on the event website. Meetings will be arranged in the days following the event.
The Talenton is an event meant for young academics from all over Europe, between the ages of 21 and 35. The event is a competition where people will fight to find the best solutions to problems in the world of today and tomorrow. The participants will be divided into teams. These teams will take on challenges linked to the 5 EU Missions in light of Horizon Europe.
Talenton will be held between September 14 – 18, 2022 at Leiden in the Netherlands, being European City of Science 2022.

The
European Research and Innovation Days the days will take place September 28 and 29, 2022
on-line. They are organized by the European Commission and will bring together researchers, entrepreneurs, politicians and citizens to debate the future of research and innovation in Europe and in countries in other parts of the world.
Presentation of POCTEFA 2014-2020 results October 4 and 5
On October 4 and 5, an event will be held in Bilbao in which the results achieved by the projects developed within the framework of the POCTEFA 2014-2020 program will be announced. The institutional partners of the program as well as representatives of the projects will present the main achievements obtained throughout this programming period.
During the event there will be space for networking between actors in the territory interested in cross-border cooperation who are already thinking about preparing a new project.
There will also be a space to learn about the most important news related to the POCTEFA 2021-2027 program.
The event can be followed in person but also in online format.
