Programme
19 h. How to disconnect to connect with yourself. Strategies to improve your health and well-being..
In a fast-paced, stimulus-saturated world, learning to disconnect is key to improving our health and well-being. In this talk, we'll explore how reducing stress through conscious pauses, mindfulness, and relaxation techniques not only improves our mental health but also has a direct impact on our cardiovascular health. Reducing stress helps regulate blood pressure, reduce inflammation, and improve heart function, preventing diseases such as hypertension and heart problems. We'll learn practical strategies to balance our digital lives, manage emotions, and strengthen our connection with ourselves, thus promoting a state of holistic well-being.
- Helena Tuquet Calvo. Psychologist specializing in neuropsychology. Neuroactívate Center, Zaragoza.
19.30 h. Connections that stress us out. The impact of screens and social media on our hearts..
In the digital age, we live hyperconnected lives, but at what cost to our health? In this talk, we'll discuss how excessive use of screens and social media can lead to chronic stress that affects both our mental and cardiovascular health. We'll explore how overexposure to digital stimuli alters our anxiety levels, interferes with sleep, and contributes to hypertension and other heart diseases.
- Dr. Silvia Mabry Paraíso. Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Specialist at Lozano Blesa University Hospital. Neuroactívate Center, Zaragoza.
