El VII Meeting of Young Researchers Abroad already has a date: it will be December 20 at the Aragon Biomedical Research Center. It will be the seventh time that Zaragoza receives the visit of young scientists who are developing their professional careers outside of Spain and who want to publicize their work and try to return.
This edition will feature the participation of Professor César de la Fuente, professor of Biotechnology at the University of Pennsylvania and one of the highest-rated scientists under 40 years of age. César de la Fuente has been recognized by prestigious institutions, including the American Chemical Society, which named him the best young researcher in the United States, and he is the Princess of Girona Award winner in the 2021 Scientific Research category.
It will be the second time that this Galician scientist participates in the Meeting of Young Researchers Abroad, organized by the Aragonese Institute of Health Sciences in collaboration with IIS Aragón and the Araid Foundation. His first participation was in the 2020 edition as a young promise.
OPEN DEADLINE TO PRESENT CANDIDATURES
Those who want to accompany De la Fuente as speakers now have the opportunity to do so. The Scientific Committee has opened the deadline to submit candidatures, and it will remain so until November 22.
Attendance at this event, which has already been attended by more than 300 young scientists, is free of charge, although it is recommended to register in advance on the aforementioned website.
