13 May 2026The Inés de Pablo Llorens Association and the Spanish Group of Transverse Oncology of Orphan and Infrequent Tumors (GETTHI) are pleased to announce the IV Inés De Pablo Llorens Scholarship – GETTHI 2026 for “Support for Research in Orphan and Infrequent Tumors”. The objective is to stimulate the development of original proposals for research projects that result in the advancement of clinical therapeutics and better knowledge of these tumors.
The purpose of this call is to award 1 scholarship, with a financial endowment of EUR 20.000 paid in two installments and a duration of 2 years, for an original research project in the field of Orphan and Infrequent Tumors developed in a national center.
The project must start at the time the aid is granted and will have a maximum period of 2 years for its execution.
Project Conditions
- Original research project, which is not linked to any clinical trial or already funded research projects. Exceptionally, the presentation of specific subprojects with relevant content and interest from larger projects underway and with prior financing will be allowed.
- Research Area: Project aimed at “Cancer in young adults”. Priority will be given to translational research projects with clinical applicability and related to Juvenile Colorectal Cancer.
- The research project must be carried out in Spain.
- Among the obligations of the winning group will be to make a brief presentation of the project during the annual charity event of the Inés de Pablo Llorens Association in Bilbao at the beginning of January.
