September 28, 2020The objective of this call is to award three prizes in the form of financial aid that contribute to supporting own, innovative and promising lines of research developed with the participation of young researchers in the field of health, with contributions
relevant scientific-techniques, supporting the attraction and retention of talent.
The thematic priorities will focus on research of a marked clinical and translational nature and related to the following pathologies:
Respiratory
• Asthma
• Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
• Respiratory diseases and COVID-19
Cardiovascular, renal and metabolism:
• Acute coronary heart disease
• Diabetes mellitus type 2
• Chronic renal failure
• Cardiovascular, kidney and metabolic diseases and COVID-19
Oncology, Personalized Therapy and Immunotherapy:
• Lung cancer
• Ovarian cancer
• Breast Cancer
• Pancreatic cancer
• Hereditary Cancer
• Lymphoproliferative syndromes
• Cancer and COVID-19
Interested persons will submit their application to the AstraZeneca Foundation with the acceptance of the Research Center where they are integrated.
