One of the latest investigations by the IIS Aragón, great news in the media

We told you a few days ago that an Aragonese investigation by the IIS Aragón revealed a new communication mechanism between brain tumor cells through “spherosomes”.

This pioneering study, carried out by researchers from the Aragón Health Research Institute and the University of Zaragoza, is focused on low-grade brain tumors. The team, led by Dr. Concha Junquera, using electron microscopy, has identified that low-grade gliomas use vesicles known as spherosomes.
