The pink color, around 4000 participants, will fill the city of Tarazona this weekend during the celebration of the VIII Sentinel Running. A solidarity sport initiative promoted for raise funds for breast and female genital cancer. Organized by the Centinela Association and the Tarazona Athletics Club in collaboration with Town Hall, consists of a solidarity challenge 24 hours non-stop and a commemorative march during the weekend of 19 and October 20.
The event was presented this Monday in the Press Room of the Turiasonense council where the mayor of Tarazona, Tone Jaray; The councilor of Sports, Paul Scrivener, the president of the Sentinel Association, Pilar Taus; and the president of the Tarazona Athletics Club, Jose Manuel Calavia.
The Tarazona City Council has been supporting the solidarity initiative for eight years. 24h solidarity challenge and commemorative march
As in previous years, on the 19th starting at 12.00:XNUMX pm the event will begin. 24-hour non-stop charity challenge that will continue until the following day at the same time on a 450-meter circuit between the bridges of Plaza San Francisco (where the start and finish area will be located) and the Virgen del Río bridge. The route can be done running, jogging or walking and the aim of the organization is that for 24 hours there is always someone participating.
Also, the day 20 at 12.00 hours will be a two-kilometer march commemorating World Breast Cancer Day. Those who wish to participate will also be able to choose how to complete the tour.
