The University of Zaragoza obtains 10 cutting-edge scientific equipment worth 4,4 million

One of the most notable projects is an electron microscope specifically for biological materials, which will be integrated into the General Research Support Service (SAI), directed by Ignacio Ochoa, director of the Biomedical Division of the SAI and IP of the IIS Aragón.

Aragon will perform a total of 2024 organ transplants in 115, 4,5% more than the previous year

All of this has been possible thanks to 55 organ donations, 49 of them from deceased patients and another six from living kidney donors.
