Neither responsible nor sustainable: Conference 'Gambling, a public health problem'

Last Friday, Zaragoza hosted a conference analyzing the effects of gambling on mental health. National leaders called for stronger public intervention through regulatory policies, effective prevention strategies, and appropriate care services. The GAMBL-OUT and GAMBL-HID projects, led by researchers from the IIS Aragón, were also presented.

The IIS Aragón and AZAJER sign an agreement to develop preventive strategies against gambling in Aragon.

Through the Mental Health Research Group (GIIS017), led by researchers and professors Javier García Campayo and Yolanda López del Hoyo, innovative initiatives will be promoted to reduce the risks of gambling in our Autonomous Community. This agreement reaffirms the commitment of both organizations to gambling research and prevention.
