Interview with Alberto J. Schuhmacher: "I don't like the war on cancer being talked about outside the laboratory."

Today, Aragón interviews Alberto Jiménez Schuhmacher, Principal Investigator of the Molecular Oncology Group at the IIS Aragón, where he is developing a cancer diagnostic technique known as "virtual biopsy" and another fluorescence-guided surgery technique. His goal is to achieve more efficient and less invasive diagnosis of the most lethal brain tumors, pancreatic cancer, and certain childhood tumors.

The magazine Cancers highlights a review article on therapies from the Molecular Oncology group of the IIS Aragón

The work has been dedicated to Professor María Victoria Arruga, who recently died, and who was the "teacher" of the researcher Alberto J. Schuhmacher. The article was one of the five highlighted among the 157 in the latest issue of the magazine on its website.
