Sara Project at the IIS Aragón: the challenge of developing more potent and less harmful cancer drugs

Developed by the Molecular Oncology Group at the IIS Aragón, led by Alberto J. Schuhmacher, it is based on an innovative technology that uses nanobodies derived from dromedaries.

The IIS Aragón and the association TheMoveMen sign an agreement to promote research into male cancer.

This new agreement will allow for the development of joint projects in research, outreach, and training on male cancer, strengthening the connection between science and society. This collaboration was born out of the annual grant TheMoveMen awarded last November to the "Virtual Biopsy" project, led by ARAID researcher Alberto J. Schuhmacher of the IIS Aragón.

Presentation of the APSATUR Aragón Research Grants

Alberto J. Schuhmacher, PI of the Molecular Oncology group at the IIS Aragón, and Nadia Hindi, head of the Oncohealth Sarcoma Unit at the Jiménez Díaz Foundation Oncology Institute, were awarded grants that allow them to research less common types of cancer.
