The IIS Aragón and the association TheMoveMen sign an agreement to promote research into male cancer.

This new agreement will allow for the development of joint projects in research, outreach, and training on male cancer, strengthening the connection between science and society. This collaboration was born out of the annual grant TheMoveMen awarded last November to the "Virtual Biopsy" project, led by ARAID researcher Alberto J. Schuhmacher of the IIS Aragón.

Aspanoa invests 120.000 euros to promote new immunotherapies for childhood cancer.

It will be distributed equally between two research projects. One is led by Diego Sánchez (IIS Aragón) and the other by Eva Gálvez (CSIC) and Ramón Hurtado (BIFI – Unizar). Immunotherapy is a treatment already being applied to some cancer patients, including children, when standard therapies are insufficient.
