21 June, 2024The Pfizer Foundation announces the “Pfizer Foundation Award for the best health innovation project arising from the Associated Units of the ITEMAS-ISCIII Platform”
The Parc Taulí Institute of Research and Innovation Foundation (I3PT), as the coordinating entity of ITEMAS, has once again established an agreement with the PFIZER Foundation through which the Pfizer Foundation convenes the “Pfizer Foundation Award for the best health innovation project arising from the Units and Associated Units of the ITEMAS-ISCIII Platform".
PURPOSE OF THE PRIZE: promote the implementation and development of innovative projects in the field of health, which specifically serve to facilitate the diagnosis of a disease, improve therapeutic adherence to treatment or facilitate information and knowledge of a pathology led by professionals from Hospitals/Institutes of Health Research, assigned to nodes and centers attached to the ITEMAS Platform. Those projects with a technological maturity of at least TRL5 will be prioritized.
AWARD OF THE PRIZE
- The winning project will receive a cash prize of €4.000 by the Pfizer Foundation.
- Furthermore, as a finalist for one of the projects that the Pfizer Foundation develops this year, the winner will have the opportunity to participate in the selection process to receive a scholarship for a 2-week stay in the program that Richi Social Entrepreneurs (https://richientrepreneurs.org/) organized in Boston, on the dates agreed upon by this organization, valued at €10.000 and not exchangeable in money. Therefore, the projects that are presented are willing to spend a 2-week stay in Boston if they are the winners.
