Post-Doctoral Study Grants 2025

These grants are intended to fund postdoctoral researchers working in research disciplines such as Ethology, Paleontology, Archaeology, Anthropology, Psychology, Epistemology, Logic and Nervous System Sciences.

These grants are awarded to French or foreign researchers with a doctorate degree who wish to carry out their project in a laboratory in France; or to French or foreign researchers with a French doctorate degree who wish to carry out their project in a laboratory abroad (excluding countries with co-supervision).

The scholarships are awarded for 12 months, non-renewable, or 24 months subject to approval by the Scientific Committee following the evaluation of a report at the end of the first year.

Requirements

Applicants must:

• Start your first postdoc with this financial support.
• If the applicant has already arrived at his/her host laboratory, he/she must not have spent more than 3 months there as of 1 September 2025.
• Be a maximum of 35 years old.
• The applicant must have obtained his/her doctorate less than two years before 1 September of the year of application, or have defended his/her thesis no later than 31 December of the year of application. The applicant must have obtained his/her doctorate before starting the scholarship.

In the case of host laboratories located in France: the beneficiary accommodated under a temporary contract must ensure that a co-financing agreement can be signed between the Foundation and the laboratory to reach the level of the gross salary.
