We are pleased to announce that the third call of the Pasqual Maragall Researchers Program (PMRP) opened on 10th September 2024. The PMRP aims to nurture and support translational and clinical research projects focusing on Alzheimer's disease or other age-related neurodegenerative diseases. The 2024 call will fund individual or collaborative research projects of up to €800,000, which are executed within a maximum period of five years.
Requirements
Principal Investigators of individual research projects or Consortium Coordinators of collaborative projects must hold a full-time position as an independent researcher at a public or non-profit research organization based in Spain. For collaborative research projects, the other members of the consortium may be based at a public or non-profit research organization based anywhere in the world. Also, All applicants must be in possession of a doctoral degree, and each individual may only participate in one project in the PMRP 2024 Call.
Application
Application to the PMRP is via a two-stage application process: submission of a letter of intent, followed by the submission of a full proposal upon invitation.
The Letter of Intent (LOI) consists of an online form, and a narrative CV document that must be downloaded, completed and uploaded to the online grants system. In the case of Collaborative Research Projects, a narrative CV is required for the Consortium Coordinator and each Consortium Principal Investigator. The online form has the following tabs:
Full proposals are submitted by invitation only. Invited applicants will be asked to complete and submit their Full Proposal and upload the required accompanying document (template will be provided) via the online grants system.
