Introduction
The Innovation Unit of the IIS Aragón seeks to enhance the capabilities and research results of its health professionals and serve as a bridge between them and society by making available to the latter the research, teaching and collaboration capabilities generated by its research groups.
To increase the visibility and internationalization of Aragón in the healthcare environment and thus promote alliances with key agents, the IIS Aragón has participated since 2017 as a member of the Innovation Platform in Medical and Health Technologies (ITEMAS), Platform to support research in Health Sciences and Technologies promoted by the Carlos III Health Institute (ISCIII). The core of the ITEMAS Platform is currently made up of the innovation units of large hospitals of the National Health System, to which are added the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality and the National Center for Cardiovascular Research (CNIC).

Identification and analysis of research results and innovative ideas generated by our researchers
</strong>Search for financing, franchise acquisition in foreign markets synergies and alliances with other agents (technology centers, companies...), and signing of the corresponding collaboration agreements, service provision contracts, confidentiality agreements
Support in the transfer of research results until reaching the phase of merchandising o translation of the results to clinical practice (search for public and private financing to increase the value of the technology, searches for interested partners, assistance in the negotiation of transfer agreements, …)

The bulletins are produced by the patent examiners of the OEPM and with more powerful search tools than the free databases on patents accessible through the Internet. The objective of these electronic and sectoral publications is to provide timely, free, schematic information on a quarterly basis. and quick reading about advances and news in the different technological sectors.
Next, Technological Surveillance Bulletins published by the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office related to the healthcare field are made available. Some of them are carried out entirely by the SPTO while others are the result of the collaboration of the SPTO with other national and international organizations: with the Industrial Technological Prospective Observatory (OPTI), Technological Platforms, and with him National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) Portuguese.
