An international study led by CIC bioGUNE establishes new reference values ​​for assessing cardiovascular risk

The study, in which the IIS Aragón participates and published in eBioMedicine, shows that, thanks to the analysis of more than 31.000 serum and plasma samples using nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), reference values ​​by age and sex have been defined for 112 lipoprotein parameters, which improves the prediction of cardiovascular risk and brings us closer to more precise and personalized medicine.
