The Spanish Society of Microphysiology and Organ-on-Chip (SESMOoC) is founded.

The TMELab group (Engineering Research Institute of Aragon, I3A / IIS Aragon) leads the launch of the new scientific society, with Iñaki Ochoa as president.

The TMELab group (Aragon Engineering Research Institute, I3A / Aragon Health Research Institute, IIS Aragón), in collaboration with several national researchers, has promoted the creation of the Spanish Society of Microphysiology and Organ-on-Chip (SESMOoC), which is now officially underway.

SESMOoC brings together leading professionals from various scientific and technical areas linked to this emerging field. The society is established as a common forum to foster collaboration, training, innovation, and dissemination, with the aim of providing the sector with greater credibility, cohesion, and visibility both nationally and internationally.

The president of the society is Iñaki Ochoa, principal investigator of the TMELab group (I3A / IIS Aragón), who leads this initiative from Zaragoza.
