October 21, 2024Building on the results of previous and ongoing Researchers at Risk initiatives, which have strengthened EU-wide support structures and provided guidance to Researchers at Risk, further support is envisaged to scale up and tailor assistance in a more tailored manner. This support will be based on the needs identified so far in national and EU initiatives. The lack of regular needs-based training and specific networking activities remains a challenge for many Researchers at Risk in Europe, as they do not have professional networks or information sources that address their particular needs.
Beyond identifying the needs of researchers, this action should focus on providing the best possible solutions to the challenges they face.
