Campo has once again dedicated himself to the fight against cancer and more than 200 people collaborated both with the solidarity meal and with the popular march in the fourth edition of this event organized, for the fourth consecutive year, by the Amoranza Association in collaboration with the City Council of the Ribagorza town and the Ribagorza Region.
While awaiting the final tally of the funds raised in this fourth edition, the organizers They expected to be around or even exceed 8.000 euros The funds from the previous donation will again be allocated to the Advanced Therapies Unit of the Aragon Health Research Institute (IIS Aragon) and to the Aspanoa collective, in this case, to contribute to the fight against childhood cancer.
The day of solidarity began with a popular march in which 80 people participatedOn a cool and sunny morning, starting at 11 a.m., the participants completed the route from Cabovila Square in Campo to the Collabardina viewpoint, slightly above the San Bllascut hermitage, to return along the same route.
The community center hosted the charity lunch starting at 14 pm. It has been served to more than 150 people Registered. The cancer awareness program in Campo then included complementary activities such as a charity bingo game, a magic show by Carlos Madrid, a fun karaoke session, and a Diábolo mobile disco to close the event. Local businesses like The Art Factory and Transportes Ballarín collaborated with this increasingly popular initiative each year.
