The Spanish Multidisciplinary Pain Society (SEMDOR) launches the Neuromodulation Specialist Title. This degree unifies knowledge in this subject, and outlines a common line of action based on the scientific evidence available up to this point.
Students will learn the theoretical concepts on the subject and the set of precise instructions on how to carry out different specific procedures. All this under the prism of the most updated and experimentally contrasted knowledge.
The syllabus of the Neuromodulation Specialist Title will be divided into six modules. In the first module, a brief historical memory will be made and they will help us to carry out an adequate design of clinical studies in this field. The second and third module will review the foundations and bioengineering that exist and give meaning to this science. The following modules will address the indications and contraindications as well as the complications of the different implantable systems that exist.
The course is presented in a completely ONLINE MODALITY which is directed by Dr. David Abejón González, Head of the Pain Unit of the HOSPITAL UNIVERSITARIO QUIRONSALUD MADRID together with a renowned cast of Drs. within the Teaching Team.
