The meeting will bring together professionals and researchers who apply bioinformatics in fields such as health, biotechnology, and the One Health approach on February 13 in Zaragoza.
La 4th Bioinformatics Conference in Aragon It will bring together the community working in the application or development of this discipline to reflect on its current situation, the main challenges it faces, and the opportunities it offers in various strategic sectors. The event will be held on February 13 at the headquarters of San Valero Group, in the Plaza Santa Cruz of Zaragoza, and is organized in collaboration with the clusters AraHealth y AraBiotechtogether with Spanish Society of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (SEBiBC).
Throughout the day, key issues such as the role of the bioinformatics and Artificial Intelligence in biomedical and biotechnological research, its application in evolutionary studies and in the genetic improvement of plants, as well as its contribution to the One Health approach. The agenda includes specialized presentations, thematic roundtables, and networking opportunities to foster the exchange of knowledge among professionals in academia, research, and industry.
This fourth edition thus consolidates itself as a benchmark meeting point to analyze the present and future of a discipline in full growth and with an ever-increasing impact on scientific and technological innovation.
