The first document in which Marisa de la Rica has participated is precisely the Strategic Framework for Nursing CareThis document establishes the foundation for strengthening the role of nursing within the healthcare system. It addresses issues such as human resource planning, skills development, professional practice, leadership, and research and innovation in care. Furthermore, it aims to facilitate a more precise evaluation of the contribution of nursing care in different healthcare settings and to support decision-making regarding planning and quality of care.
In the process of defining the framework, several related projects have also emerged, including joint work with the World Health Organization on policies for attracting and retaining nursing talent, as well as research focused on human resource planning models tailored to patient needs to ensure safe care in different healthcare settings.
