Unraveling the future of early Alzheimer's detection: hidden secrets in RNA metabolism
September 21, 2023Researchers and volunteers from these two associations will be in the hospital halls offering information about the research and work of the two entities. The objective of this campaign is to raise awareness so that, by 2030 and thanks to research, we will reach 70% cancer survival.
To mark the World Cancer Research Day, la Spanish Association Against Cancer and Aragon Health Research Institute they go out to Miguel Servet University Hospital and Lozano Blesa University Clinical Hospital to make visible the importance of oncological research, key in the development of new treatments and early detection elements.
The action will take place on Friday, September 22 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in both hospital centers and anyone can come and receive information about the projects carried out by the researchers who are present at that moment since, to provide more information, different researchers from the Aragon Health Research Institute and thus cover several projects. They will be accompanied by volunteers from the Spanish Association Against Cancer who will offer information about the services they provide and support scientists.
Through this action we want to make visible the research work that is carried out in Aragon, where there are large teams of researchers and which, day by day, is growing in number and quality.
Objective: exceed 70% survival in cancer
Among the actions carried out, the Spanish Association Against Cancer has the objective of achieving In 2030, cancer survival will exceed 70%ry, this objective can only be achieved thanks to research. Therefore, all public and private institutions must work together to achieve this.
