Next December 4th 2025The Faculty of Medicine will host the Healthcare Management Conference in Aragon: Optimizing Processes, Transforming HealthcareA meeting aimed at analyzing current challenges in healthcare management and presenting initiatives that are driving real improvements in various services within the Aragonese healthcare system. The session will be opened by... Dr. Sara Guillén Lorente, director of the Hospital Care Area of the Aragonese Health Service, and by the Dr. Ángel Lanas ArbeloaScientific Director of the IIS Aragón. The event also has the collaboration of Novartis, who participates in the program through one of the discussion panels.
Throughout the afternoon, several roundtables will be held in which professionals from different hospitals and management areas will share their insights on the importance of optimizing healthcare processes, as well as practical experiences related to reducing waiting times, digitizing clinical pathways, improving the management of complex pathologies, and generating value in healthcare. The day will conclude with a presentation by Dr. Ramón Boria Avellanas, Director General of Healthcare and Planning, who will emphasize the importance of continuing to move towards more efficient and patient-centered organizational models.
