20 July 2023The leading academic platform for researchers research.com published this May its annual edition of Ranking of Best Scientists in the field of Psychology. An important list in which Javier García-Campayo, professor at the University of Zaragoza and researcher at the IIS Aragón, occupies the 15th place in Spain and 2185th in the world.
This report aims to provide the academic community with greater visibility and exposure to the influential research contributions made by those who are at the forefront of psychology. A great opportunity to identify who are the main experts in different research areas by country and also by universities and research institutions.
For the 2023 edition of the ranking, More than 8600 scientist profiles have been examined in Google Scholar and Microsoft Academic Graph, with several indicators and metrics reviewed to consider the inclusion of each scientist in the ranking. The inclusion criteria for academics to be considered for the ranking of top scientists are based on the D-index of the discipline, the proportion of contributions made within the given discipline, and the scientists' awards and achievements.

Javier García-Campayo
Graduate in Medicine from the University of Zaragoza, where he completed his Doctoral thesis, he studied the specialty of Psychiatry at the University Clinical Hospital of Zaragoza.
Has made research stays at the Universities of Manchester and Cambridge (Great Britain) and McGill (Montréal, Canada). She leads the Research Group “Mental Health in Primary Care” recognized by the Government of Aragon, which is part of the Research Network in Primary Care (REDIAP) of the Ministry of Health.
He has written more than 20 books and 25 book chapters and He has published more than 300 research papers. He is the Director of the Master of Mindfulness at the University of Zaragoza, the oldest in this subject from a Spanish-speaking university.
