11 March, 2024With the hope of continuing to promote this initiative, the Jané Mateu Foundation is calling, for the 2nd consecutive year, a new edition of grants for scientific research projects in the areas of oncology and nutritional and metabolic disorders through R&D activities +i that are beneficial for patients, for the healthcare network and for our society.
The purpose of the call is the granting of financial aid for the development of research in the area of biomedicine.
The projects will be led by a principal investigator who must meet all of the following requirements:
- Have Spanish nationality or residence in Spain.
- Be in possession of a Doctorate degree at the time of submitting the application.
- Be linked by employment or official relationship to a university institution or a public or private organization dedicated to research. The institution to which the main researcher is linked must be based in Spain.
- Research projects whose purpose is research, dissemination or assistance in the field of oncology and nutritional and metabolic disorders can be submitted to this call.
Endowment: A maximum of 6 grants will be awarded. The financial envelope for each aid is a maximum gross amount of 6.000 euros.
Presentation: Candidates must present a report between 5 and 10 pages, written in Catalan, Spanish or English, which includes a budget, a work plan and a plan for disseminating the results.
The application must be submitted through the Foundation's website by completing the corresponding form (www.janemateufoundation.org).
Along with this documentation, the applicants' CV must be attached, containing their contact information (maximum length of between 5 and 10 pages per resume), as well as a cover letter, motivation from the applicant and authorization from the person in charge of the center where it will be carried out. the project. In the event that the project involves experimentation on humans or animals, a report from an ethics committee must be provided in accordance with the provisions of the applicable regulations.
