IpIBA Day: III Meeting of Predoctoral Researchers in Biomedicine

The deadline to send the abstract for "Poster" and/or "Thesis in 3 minutes" is extended until April's 30

The third days of ipIBA Day dedicated to predoctoral students in Biomedicine and related areas will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024

A new edition of 'ipIBA Day' is here, which will take place on May 17 de 8: 15 14 to: 30 hours in the CIBA's Lorente de No! Assembly Hall!

The ipIBA Day is a day dedicated to all predoctoral students in Biomedicine and related areas, where you can get together, interact and spread your projects. This initiative will also serve to close the course of seminars on biomedical research taught since November; designed to promote scientific culture, enhance networking among younger researchers and contribute to the development of their transversal activities in terms of communication and dissemination.  

The 'ipIBA Day' program includes different sessions. The day will begin with a welcome event. Afterwards, different activities and workshops will take place, including an 'Escape Room' and a workshop on emotions organized by the Spanish Association Against Cancer. On the other hand, the competition will take place. To do this, participants are encouraged to design a poster in scientific format and present their doctoral thesis in an informative tone in just three minutes. At the end of the day, the author of the best poster and those classified in the thesis competition will be awarded.

Places are limited due to Due to the high demand from last year, the registration of people who are doing the doctorate will be prioritized, although if there are extra places, other groups will be included in order of registration.
