A group of researchers from IIS Aragón, speakers at eWoman 2023

This Thursday, June 14, the event was held eWoman Zaragoza 2023, a date that has had the impulse of the Health Research Institute and with the participation of some of our researchers.

The health professionals of the Miguel Servet University Hospital who intervene in the Breast Cancer Process were the protagonists of one of the inspirational presentations of this female leadership event organized by Prensa Ibérica and El Periódico de Aragón at CaixaForum.

Reyes Ibáñez Carreras, head of the breast and gynecological tumors section of the Multihospital Clinical Unit of Radiation Oncology of Aragon; Carmen Casamayor Franco, Surgeon at the General Surgery Service and at the Miguel Servet University Hospital in Zaragoza, section head of the Bariatric and Breast Endocrine Surgery Unit at HUMS; Carmen García Mur, head of the breast radiology section at the Miguel Servet Hospital in Zaragoza and Isabel Vicente Gomez, head of the Gynecology section and the Breast Unit at the Miguel Servet University Hospital, spoke about her career and experience in caring for patients with breast cancer in Aragon, where An average of 900 new cases are diagnosed each year.
