Inés Mármol, researcher at IIS Aragón, has received the National Youth Award 2023 in the 'Science and Technology' category, endowed with 5.000 euros, granted by the Ministry of Social Rights and Agenda 2030.
The National Youth Awards, created by the Youth Institute (INJUVE), have the purpose of stimulate and recognize the trajectory and effort of young people that reveal their ccommitment in different areas of society.
Within the category of 'Science and Technology', the jury that decided these awards wanted to highlight Inés Mármol that «The candidate's career in biomedicine transcends from the laboratory to general society. While she works on the front line in the research of new cancer therapies, she contributes to increasing citizen culture in relation to biomedicine in order to help reduce the negative impact of malicious hoaxes.«
