I RESEARCH AND INNOVATION CONFERENCE FOR RESIDENTS IN ARAGON
The IIS Aragón has organized, throughout the month of May 2024, the First Research and Innovation Conference for Residents in Aragón, following in the footsteps of the last five years of the Miguel Servet University Hospital.
The Research and Innovation Conference for Residents in Aragon is an event designed to promote innovation and research between the healthcare residents. The main objective of these Conferences is to provide a learning space, exchange of ideas and presentation of innovative works, contributing to the advancement of knowledge and the improvement of clinical practice in the region.
The long-term purpose of these Conferences is to consolidate as a annual landmark event for residents, promoting excellence in health research and innovation. It is intended that these Conferences be a stable platform for the networking and interdisciplinary collaboration, supporting the young researchers in the development of their careers and in the implementation of projects that have a positive impact on the health of the population.

In the first Conference, held from May 8 to 29, 2024, several online sessions and one face-to-face session in the CIBA Assembly Hall. The sessions addressed key topics such as writing research articles, participation in research groups and innovation methodology in the healthcare field. In this space you will find the presentations of the speakers and the material used in them.
Along with the Conferences, the “Research and Innovation Awards for Residents”, which rewarded the best communications and innovation project proposals. The event culminated with the presentation of works and awarding of prizes, highlighting the participation of key figures in the Aragonese healthcare field, and setting an important precedent for future editions. In the “Posters” tab you will find those posters that the authors of the communications presented.
