26 July 2024Through this call, basic, translational and clinical research projects will be developed and financed in Down syndrome, and other intellectual disabilities of genetic origin with an early onset, to deepen our knowledge of these disorders and be able to develop new therapies and treatments. and explore new therapeutic approaches.
Requirements
The proposals must relate to the research priorities defined by the strategic plan of the Jérôme Lejeune Foundation. Additionally, only projects focused on research related to Down syndrome will be considered for funding.
Applicants cannot be funded by the Foundation, unless they have a grant that is in the final phase and the project has received favorable reviews.
Applicants must:
- Have an excellent track record and present an outstanding proposal.
- Have a PI who has a long-term contract with an academic institution.
- Do not have a postdoctoral contract at the time of applying.
- Be in possession of a PhD, MD, PsyD or equivalent degree.
- Have the scientific or medical knowledge necessary to carry out the project, or have the appropriate collaborations.
