Augusts 29, 2024Through this call, 3 research projects will be funded, with up to $100,000, on the human intestinal ecosystem and its impact on health. Priority will be given to programs that explore beyond the bacterial microbiome and clarify the mechanisms of interaction between it, the non-bacterial microbiome and the host.
Requirements
- Possession of a doctorate or specialist medical degree (PhD, MD, PharmD).
- Have at least 5 years of postdoctoral experience.
- Be employed by a university, research institute, or other nonprofit organization.
All proposals will be evaluated by peer review and assessed by a panel of independent experts. Proposals will be assessed against the following criteria:
- Quality and originality.
- Potential social and scientific impact.
- Quality of the participant and team.
- Clarity in the explanation of the use of funds and their adequacy to the proposed research program.
- Emphasis on mechanisms of action.
