November 14, 2024The European partnership FutureFoodS has launched its 1st joint transnational call for proposalsTransforming Food Systems – reshaping food system interactions, fostering food innovations and empowering sustainable food choices", in which the State Research Agency participates.
This call brings together 36 funding organisations from 19 countries and the European Commission, jointly committing up to 40 million euros to support innovative research and development projects focused on creating a sustainable and resilient food future. In this regard, the State Research Agency will finance eligible Spanish entities that participate in the approved projects.
The call is aimed at innovative projects that contribute to the following topics:
- Towards sustainable and resilient food systems.
- New Foods – Fostering innovations in food design, processing and supply by reorienting demand and supply.
- Strengthening sustainable food choices – Facilitating food environments and dietary changes.
The maximum duration of the project will be 36 months.
The proposal must be submitted through the online platform, and must be written in English.
In order to submit a full proposal, it is necessary to have submitted a pre-proposal, which will be binding, and no changes to the objectives will be permitted. However, changes in relation to administrative aspects or minor details may be accepted.
