cfRNA in plasma seminar: new strategies for the discovery of non-invasive biomarkers

The Aragon Health Research Institute encourages you to attend the cfRNA in plasma seminar: new strategies for the discovery of non-invasive biomarkers, which will take place on Thursday February 19th 2026 at 12:30 h.
WHAT WILL WE TALK ABOUT?
At Flomics, we are applying next-generation sequencing technology to analyze total RNA in plasma, with the goal of identifying biomarkers that enable the non-invasive early detection of cancer. We are currently leading a study focused on the early detection of five types of cancer. Using this technology, we aim to develop useful tools for translational research and the improvement of clinical diagnosis. Although our current focus is on oncology, our approach is fully applicable to other pathologies where the identification of biomarkers in biofluids can provide value. Therefore, this presentation will explain in detail the technology used and why we work with total plasma RNA, as well as various research projects in which we have collaborated.
