Biomedical Seminar | Exploring the Microbiome: Advances, Challenges and Applications for a One Health Approach

El Friday 29 May 2026 the biomedical seminar will take place "Exploring the microbiome: Advances, challenges and applications for a One Health approach" in the Training Rooms of the Translational Research Unit of the Miguel Servet University Hospital (General Building, 1st Floor), during the following hours: from 11 p.m to 30 p.m.This event is organized by Microomics, the Agri-food Institute of Aragon (IA2) and the Aragon Health Research Institute (IIS Aragon).

During the session, dedicated to the latest advances in the study of the microbiome, The current challenges in microbiome research will be explored, from key methodological aspects to ensure robust and reproducible results in metagenomics to the importance of interdisciplinary research in nutrition and sustainability, or the impact of the microbiome on digestive diseases.

The day will begin with a welcome coffee and a space for networking Prior to the presentations, attendees will also be able to participate in a guided tour of the new IUT facilities at the IIS Aragón. The event can also be followed online.
