El November 8th The IV Edition of the International Symposium on Immuno-oncology will take place in person, organized, programmed and coordinated by doctors Julián Pardo and Antonio Antón of the Aragon Health Research Institute. The space chosen to host the symposium will be CaixaForum Zaragoza.

It is a journey aimed at basic and clinical researchers, professionals in the health field such as nurses, oncologists y pharmacists practicing hospitalists, graduates or graduates in Medicine, Farmacia, Biology, Biochemistry, Nursing, Biotechnology o Veterinary.

Throughout a day, morning and afternoon, the basic and clinical aspects of immuno-oncology, and the “Pipeline” of different pharmaceutical industries through short presentations and subsequent round table discussion. Part of the day will also be allocated to presentation of communications and posters, having also been programmed presentations by leading international researchers in the field of cancer immunology and immunotherapy.

As a novelty, in this edition, The symposium is part of the first edition of the Master's Degree in Tumor Immunology and Cancer Immunotherapy of the University of Zaragoza.

The excellent memory of previous editions, interrupted by the pandemic, makes us think of this edition as a magnificent forum for practicing health professionals, researchers and students to get to know each other better and exchange experiences, concerns and knowledge, at the same time who know first-hand new solutions already available on the market. The great development of cancer immunotherapy in recent years makes us predict that the near future is very promising and at the symposium we will have the opportunity to put on the table the most relevant advances, innovation and the different lines of work that will mark the development of immuno-oncology in the next decade.
