The Ministry of Science and Innovation and the European FECYT Office hold a National Information Day to disseminate the European Cooperation Program in Science and Technology “COST”.

This day will be celebrated the next day 2 June in hybrid format, with interventions by the national delegate in the Committee of Senior Representatives of COST and the National Coordinator of COST. In addition, there will be the presence of Spanish participants in COST Actions to explain first-hand their experiences with the program from different points of view and personnel from the COST Association who will tell us in detail about the opportunities offered by the COST program.

The fundamental objective of the conference is to promote the participation of Spanish researchers in the COST Programme, to explain its innovations within the new “Horizon Europe” research framework programme, and to publicize the characteristics and advantages of participating in COST Actions.

What is COST?

COST finances cooperation networks with a duration of four years that are called “COST Actions”.

COST has always been based on the concept of open and inclusive networks (its Actions), which include all scientific-technological areas (including interdisciplinary, new and emerging fields), new and original ideas (innovative), all types of participants (belonging to public and private entities, large and small), different research careers (young and senior researchers), all countries (small and large).
