II Research Day for Residents

On November 14, the II Research Day for Residents.
The objective of this day will be to discuss research during residency in Sector Zaragoza II and how it can be improved. This year the Day is open to all residents of the entire Autonomous Community.
The day will take place in the morning and afternoon starting at 12:00 p.m. The planned program includes:
· A round table where a selection of scientific works carried out by residents and already published in scientific journals will be presented.
· A round table entitled “Research during residency” in which the results of the implementation of the figure of the Research Support Tutor will be presented, the Research Resident within the IIS will be discussed, and the Opportunities of Research will be discussed. research at HUMS and new lines of research. In addition, it will be about the vision that residents have about research in this training period, in a forum coordinated by the residents of the Teaching Commission and the Research Commission.
· Presentation of Scientific Communications.
The best works will be selected for presentation as communication, establishing 3 categories:
· Medical Services and Primary Care
· Surgical Services
· Central services
There will be a first prize of €500 for the best communication, and two second prizes of €250 for the best communication in the other two categories that have not obtained the first prize.
Dear partners,
Given the numerous suggestions we have received, the Scientific Committee of the II Resident Research Conference has decided to extend the deadline for submitting communications until October 23. During the week of October 28, the Scientific Committee will evaluate the acceptance of the communications and, in the week of November 4, you will be informed of the acceptance and the format and presentation instructions.
On the other hand, you still have the possibility of sending us scientific articles in which you have participated so that they can be presented in the form of a presentation.
From the Teaching Commission we take this opportunity to thank you for the excellent reception you have given to this new edition of the Conference (60 registered and 50 communications presented so far). As you know, the registration period is open until next November 11th.
