I Course “Suicide prevention from the professions of caring for the elderly”

The Suicide prevention strategy in Aragon and within the prevention area for the elderly group, a course has been scheduled, which will take place next December 14, aimed at suicide prevention, as well as detection and intervention in risk cases.
The training has been organized by the Government of Aragon by the Aragon Health Research Institute with collaboration from the Aragonese Institute of Social Services, the Zaragoza City Council and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zaragoza and the sponsorship of Janssen. It is offered free of charge to all professionals who carry out care tasks for the elderly, enabling them, within the framework of the relationship they establish, to act effectively in the fight against these tragic deaths, given that People in these age groups are those with the highest percentage risk of suicide.
The simultaneous face-to-face and online modality, as well as the possible delayed viewing, aims to facilitate accessibility as much as possible from all points of Aragon and from a wide schedule. All the necessary information is detailed in the program.
