Training – QuantStudio™ 5 Real-Time PCR System

The Translational Research Unit (TRU) will host a training session given by Thermo Fisher Scientific focused on the use of the real-time PCR system QuantStudio™ 5 and its analysis software.

During the training, the main functionalities of the data analysis software will be covered through practical examples. absolute quantification, relative quantification and genotyping using TaqMan® probes.

Program

11:00 – 13:30 | Using the analysis software

• Template creation (customizable templates): import and export of files .edt.
• Analysis threshold configuration (analysis threshold).
• Fundamental aspects for absolute and relative quantification.
• Importing, saving, and exporting results to files .eds.

13:30 | Question and Answer Session (Q&A)

Registration: No prior registration is required. Attendance is free until the room reaches capacity.

This training is exclusively for IIS Aragón researchers and users of the Translational Research Unit at the Miguel Servet University Hospital who wish to acquire or reinforce their knowledge of the QuantStudio™ 5 system's analysis software and results interpretation. No certificates will be issued for the training received.
