Professionals from the Aragonese Health System, and/or research staff from the IIS Aragón who carry out research within a research team, who require the use of this type of methodology to carry out their research work. (24 places)
Selection criteria
The selection criteria will be:

HEALTH professionals who belong to a research group

HEALTH professionals who wish to start research work

Professionals assigned to IIS Aragón research groups not included in the two previous groups who develop clinical research and with preference for emerging groups

In the selection, an attempt will be made to guarantee that the different health sectors of Aragon are represented in the activity.
For in-person sessions, it is essential to bring your own laptop.
Basic knowledge of statistics is required, as well as experience and knowledge of using R Software.
Objective
Provide advanced statistical tools for health sciences research.
Specific objectives
– Make known the appropriate organization that our data must have for this type of longitudinal studies.
– Illustrate how to visualize longitudinal data.
– Introduce the student to statistical methods and models to analyze repeated measurements when the response variable is the time until the event of interest.
– Introduce the student to the functions involved in survival analysis
– Introduce the student to statistical methods and models to analyze joint models of longitudinal and survival data
– Create reproducible reports using only R
