Course «Ethical and regulatory aspects in research with human beings. Role of the Committees»

The purpose of the course is to make doctoral students aware of the bioethical aspects of research with people and, in this way, contribute to improving the competence of doctoral students to develop research projects. Essentially in the issues related to the ethical principles of beneficence (justification of the risk-benefit relationship), non-maleficence (research risks, protection of privacy and personal data), justice (equitable selection of the sample, usefulness, social) and autonomy (information about the purposes of the project, voluntary participation, annoyances, inconveniences or foreseeable damages,...)

The course includes informative sessions led by the Animal Experimentation Ethics Committee and the Biosafety Committee, with the aim of disseminating among doctoral students the activities of these committees and the legal requirements that different research projects must meet.

All face-to-face sessions will be recorded so that they can be viewed later by those enrolled in the non-face-to-face group.

Opening hours:  de 16:00 p.m. to 20:00 p.m.

Location: Auditorium of the Biomedical Research Center of Aragon (CIBA). Avda. San Juan Bosco, 13. Zaragoza

The practical activities will be carried out through the Digital Teaching Ring (ADD) platform of the University of Zaragoza
